Current Years
In 2005 she decided to follow her parents footsteps and go to Mexico in order to intern at the Municipal Office for Tourism and perfect her Spanish knowledge, by now she is often mistaken for a native speaker.
During this time the dream of attending a fashion school was established, upon returning to Germany she finished her Abitur (2 years which lead to university). Sure not easy years, but with a clear objective in mind it all was easier.
With the support of friends and family she graduated in December 2012 from Parsons. The degree in Design and Management catered towards her passion for design and fashion, while also catering to analytical business skills. The program sharpened her skills in design thinking, research, idea generation, collaborative work and mastering the entire Adobe Design Suite.
The fundamental role of design is to solve problems and create designs that are functional and increase quality of life. Design and Management comprises the entrepreneurial and strategic aspects of design, as well as design aspects of business, giving her the tools to approach each project simultaneously from the angle of the perspective of a consumer and an entrepreneur.

Early Years
Simone grew up in a village about 40 minutes outside of Munich. With no siblings she always had all the attention of her parents, who at the age of 4 introduced her to the benefits of traveling foreign cultures, try new cuisines and always look on the bright side of things, there is always one, you just have to look hard enough.
Early on Simone rather wanted to learn "American", why? Well, because "English sounded stupid" (quote from 5 year old Simone). Her father was a sergeant in the German military, was stationed in El Paso for a total of 6 years and passed her on German efficiency, humility, strong work ethics, organizer skills and sense of humor.
At age 16 Simone left her village to pursue a degree in languages and economics, three years later she had a degree as a trilingual administrative assistant. During this time Simone's sense of "never regret, never look back" was shaped and she decided if she ever wanted to do something in life, she would never wait for it to happen, but be proactive and do it, experience is the best master we have in life, and we will never get a second chance.
